Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) in Talk to Acquire Israeli’s PrimeSense

According to report from AllThingsD Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) is looking forward to acquire Israeli 3D sensor technology company PrimeSense, the report also said both sides are currently negotiating over it, while Israeli financial newspaper, Calcalist reported that the US smartphone maker had takeover the company for $345 million.

The Israeli 3D sensor technology company underpins the Kinect motion-sensing feature in Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT)’s Xbox 360 game console. The digital news website also reported that the deal between the two firm ends as PrimeSense’s investors agreed to the final terms of the deal.

The Israeli company deals in three-dimensional space technology by using cameras and sensors. These devices facilitate users to identify people and their gesture and movements. This technology is also used to create such instruments or device that can use as substitute to remote control for televisions and a controller for video games.

The Israeli company was found eight-year-ago had generated somewhat little money; however that’s not really the case. Excluding this amount, PrimeSense, had also raised approximately $30 million from venture capitalists such as Gemini Israel, Genesis Partners and Canaan Partners. Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) shares dropped -0.60% to $524.99 in last trading session.
