RICHFIELD PARK, N.J., Dec. 3, 2018 /PRNewswire/ — The FAIR Energy Foundation recognized Chairman Jason Xu and Jiangnan Environmental Protection Group Inc. (JNG) for exemplifying innovation that supports global energy abundance and the utilization of energy resources in an environmentally conscious manner for the betterment of mankind.   The foundation cited JNG’s contributions to global energy access and prosperity through the development and implementation of ammonia-based desulfurization technology.  The benefits of which include high desulfurization efficiency, low energy consumption, no waste water discharge, and creating a value added by-product – ammonium sulfate fertilizer.  Ammonia-based desulfurization extends the useful life of coal fired power generation plants by turning SO2 in flue gas into a large amount of fertilizer for agricultural use.  JNG’s green technology helps meet global energy demand, in line with JNG’s values of doing what is truly beneficial to society.

The award for Outstanding Achievement was presented to Chairman Xu by Mr. David Wallace II, President of the FAIR Energy Foundation, on November 20th at the Capitol Hill Club in Washington, DC during a visit by JNG senior management to brief Administration officials on the benefits JNG’s technology and value proposition to the United States.  JNG’s (JET US) projected U.S. value proposition, which targets over 50 coal fired power plants, includes over $16 billion in direct investment; creating over 24,000 jobs (14,250 in the coal industry and 10,000 in the fertilizer industry) and $883 million in tax revenues.
