Deutsche Bank On 5 June met with Chinese Internet portal Sina Corp. (NASDAQ:SINA) management lately and issued a report on their takeaways. Sina had its publishing and video transmission licenses revoked by Beijing for distributing pornographic content in April. Analysts say the direct revenue impact from these licenses is small, but this stock is down over 20% from its mid-April high. The problem is that “many Sina customers have sought broad, blanket assurances that there would be no legal risk”, commented analysts Vivian Hao and Alan Hellawell III, but since Sina can’t extend this guarantee right now (obviously), the management expects “‘soft revenues’ for next few quarters.” SINA Corp (NASDAQ:SINA) net profit margin is 3.50% and weekly performance is 0.71%.
