The renowned software making company Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) recently disclosed that its Azure cloud PaaS and IaaS services have supported the company in generating more than 1 billion US dollars of sales for the year. The service directly rivals with identical offerings with AWS from Amazon and Rackspace. Microsoft also unleashed that Azure subscriptions are up 48 percent in the past half year.
