Yet even as Monsanto has done a good job of outpacing DuPont (NYSE: DD  ) and other rivals with its early move to focus on high-margin ag products, recent reports that the company considered buying Syngenta (NYSE: SYT  ) has some investors wondering if Monsanto thinks it needs to turn to the M&A front to bolster its future growth. Ambarella Inc (NASDAQ:AMBA), reported an upbeat first quarter with total revenue amounting to $40.9 million, up 20.6% from the same quarter a year ago. Net income for the quarter was $7.8 million, which was more than the previous year quarter’s net income of $6.2 million. The adjusted EPS was up 19% at $0.25, beating the analysts’ estimate of $0.21 per share. The expected revenue for the second quarter of fiscal 2015 is between $43.5 million and $45.5 million, 15% to 21% more than the second quarter revenue of the previous year. The estimated gross margin is between 61.5% and 63.5%. Ambarella Inc (NASDAQ:AMBA), advanced 2.73% in last trading session and ended the day on $31.27. Tesla Motors Inc (NASDAQ:TSLA),  stock has risen 14.4% over the past month to $237.22 a share, and seems to be nearing its all-time intraday high of $265. Yesterday, it rose 3.3% in regular trading following an update from Morgan Stanley analyst Adam Jonas, who has called the company ‘the world’s most important automaker.’ Tesla Motors Inc (NASDAQ:TSLA), ended the last trading day at $232.50. Shire PLC (ADR) (NASDAQ:SHPG), announces that Judge Stanley R. Chesler of the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey granted Shire’s summary judgment motion in a patent infringement lawsuit, holding that certain claims of the patents protecting Vyvanse® (lisdexamfetamine dimesylate) were both infringed and valid.  Shire PLC (ADR) (NASDAQ:SHPG), On last trading day company shares ended up $223.27.
