    Petroleo Brasileiro Petrobras SA (ADR) (NYSE:PBR) could end up posting record earnings in the latest quarter when it reports Tuesday, February 25. The most indebted oil company is forecast to report higher quarterly earnings due to the support of fuel price increase as was granted by the government. Such increases in fuel prices help to reduce refining losses. The new fuel prices which took effect in November reflected increases of 4 and 8 percent on the prices of gasoline and diesel respectively. That was the first time in nine months that PBR was allowed to adjust its fuel prices upwards. But even with that price hike, the company continued selling its fuel at a price that was 11 percent below the global price through the fourth quarter. That is according to estimates issued by Deutsche Bank SA. The stock of Petroleo Brasileiro Petrobras SA (ADR) (NYSE:PBR) gained 2.1 percent in the last session, sending the shares to perch at $11.67. Petroleo Brasileiro Petrobras SA (ADR) (NYSE:PBR) stock opened at $11.82 in last session, and closed at $11.33, while the day range of PBR stock is $11.28-$11.84.The stock showed a positive weekly performance of 1.16%.

The ConocoPhillips (NYSE:COP)  strengths can be seen in multiple areas, such as its increase in net income, expanding profit margins, good cash flow from operations and increase in stock price during the past year. Although the company may harbor some minor weaknesses, we feel they are unlikely to have a significant impact on results.,” TheStreet’s analyst commented. ConocoPhillips (NYSE:COP) stock opened at $66.30, in last session and closed at $66.52, by gained 0.15%.The 52 week range was $56.38-$74.59.Company’s market capitalization is $81.49 billion.

    TOTAL SA (ADR) (NYSE:TOT) announced a special dividend on Tuesday, February 25th, AnalystRatingsNetwork.com reports. Investors of record on Friday, May 30th will be paid a dividend of 0.8381 per share on Friday, June 20th. This represents a dividend yield of 5.09%. The ex-dividend date is Wednesday, May 28th.     BP plc (ADR) (NYSE:BP) said on Monday that it has begun pumping crude from its new well located at one of its four major deepwater project in Gulf of Mexico, marking the second major startup in the region this year. The new well at the Na Kika semi-submersible platform will be the third among six wells which are scheduled to start operations in the current year. The well forms a part of the multibillion dollar project intended to increase the crude output from the Gulf region over its previous record peak of 1.8 million bbl per day in two years. In the Na Kika project, BP plc (ADR) (NYSE:BP) holds 50% ownership, while the rest is being shared by Royal Dutch Shell. The two companies are also working at Shell’s Mars B deepwater field, which is a first major upgrade this year in Gulf. BP plc (ADR) (NYSE:BP) stock opened the session at $50.73, and closed the session at $50.67.The 52 week range of the BP stock remained $39.99-$51.02 and the day range was $50.43-$51.02.
