Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) New iPhone may Debut in Third Week of September, says iLounge
From leaked alleged pictures of Apple Inc.’s (NASDAQ:AAPL) new next-generation iPhone to rumours about its impending launch in the third week of September, later this year – the smartphone and entertainment devices maker is in the news.
The buzz is that along with the new iPhone the company could unveil a new iPod and an iPad Mini as well, iLounge said in its latest issue, though specific details were not available.
Apple will be ready to ship its next phone by mid-September. The rumour is that the company is working on a couple of new cases that may come with a stand.
The new iPod Touch is likely to resemble the new iPhone in terms of a larger 4-inch display.
Eager customers may have to wait for a bit more for a new iPad Mini, according to iLounge which said that the launch may be delayed to November. In fact there is conflicting information on this with iMore expecting the launch of the Mini simultaneously with the iPhone.
There may be some tweaks also being made to the iPad with a smaller dock connector and some minor changes to the design though there is possibility of the addition of a rear microphone for clarity in audio capture while shooting videos, iLounge said.
Speculation is rife about the launch timing of the iPad though the consensus seems to be that it will follow the launch of the iPad Mini.
Shares of the company jumped about 2% just below $600 mark.
