Teva Pharmaceutical Industries announced that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration have accepted for filing its New Drug Application for Quartette. The Company is seeking approval to manufacture and market Quartette. Quartette is the first ascending-dose, extended regimen oral contraceptive for the prevention of pregnancy. The submission was based on a clinical development program including results from Phase I, Phase II, and Phase III clinical trials designed to evaluate the safety and efficacy of Quartette(TM) in the prevention of pregnancy. The clinical trials involved more than 3,000 female subjects.
InterOil Corporation (USA) (NYSE:IOC) decreased 3.97% to $87.40. The Company will release financial and operating results for the second quarter of 2012 after the market closes on August 13, 2012.

Riley started coverage on the stock with a sell rating and the price target of $11.0.Last month, the Company entered into a definitive agreement to acquire privately held Zencoder. Zencoder is a cloud-based video encoding service. Zencoder also provides Video.js. The financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
