    Comcast Corp. is much more likely to work with Charter Communications Inc. on a bid for Time Warner Cable Inc (NYSE:TWC). than to pursue an offer on its own, said a person familiar with the situation, a major boost to Charter’s hopes of winning the takeover battle. Time Warner Cable Inc (NYSE:TWC) stock decreased -0.63% and finished the last session at $133.70. The EPS of the stock remained 6.46. Company’s market capitalization is $38.21 billion.

    Shares of TiVo Inc. (NASDAQ:TIVO), the San Jose-based maker of iconic DVR technology, sank more than 2 percent Thursday and is lagging still Friday on a report that the company was planning to wind down its hardware business. The news was first reported late Wednesday by Wired. The report said five industrial designers had been laid off, reducing TiVo’s hardware division to almost nil. TiVo Inc. (NASDAQ:TIVO) stock opened at $12.37 in last trading session and closed at $12.23. The 52 week range of the stock is $10.47 – $14.25 and the day range was $12.17 – $12.53.
