According to Burger King (NYSE: BKW) this is a re-creation of the Big King that it rolled out in limited markets back in 1997. When compared to the old version, tne new one has a middle bun, comes with freshly cut lettuce, white onions, pickles, sauce and a sesame seed bun.

Burger King re-rolls out Big Mac-buster Big King
Big King didn’t have the third bun it now has when originally sold in limited markets in 1997.
Just recently Burger King (NYSE: BKW) joined the fast food fad on a low calorie offer. The fad for the healthiest fast food chain puts so much pressure for every on the go chain. That is why Burger King (NYSE: BKW) came out with its Satisfries which has a lesser gram of fat and sodium compared to McDonalds fries. And now its Big King weighs in at about 40 calories less than the Big Mac.
Burger King is bringing back the Big King burger, which appears to be modeled after the Big Mac. Burger King re-rolls out Big Mac–buster Big King. Bank says it’s open to increasing bid for Men’s Wearhouse.
But what makes this Big King different from Big Mac and other burgers on the market is that they’re fire-grilled burgers which is the main element that made the burger unique based in most costumer taste surveys.
