    Nokia Corporation (ADR) (NYSE:NOK) recorded solid gains after a news that its joint venture with Siemens AG is planning to lift almost EUR700 million ($930 million) from public markets.

    On the flip side, Oi SA (ADR) (NYSE:OIBR) was among biggest losers after announcing board changes and the election of Mr. Jose Mauro Mettrau Carneiro da Cunha to take a role as Chief Executive Officer of the company in replacement of Mr. Francisco Tosta Valim Filho.

    Packaging Corp Of America (NYSE:PKG) dropped 2% after financial results.
