    Starbucks Corporation (NASDAQ:SBUX) would reiterate its fourth-quarter report in which the company will amend its earnings report and will report operating loss of $2.12 billion to reveal damages associated to its disagreement with Kraft Foods Group Inc (NASDAQ:KRFT), according to the company statement.

    On Tuesday, an arbitrator decided that the firm must pay $2.23 billion of fine as well as $527 million for legal and interest charges for closing its packaged coffee supply deal with Kraft prematurely three years early. Kraft Foods Group Inc (NASDAQ:KRFT) share increased 0.39% to $52.17 in current trading session.

    In September 1998, both the company has made a deal in which Kraft will sell bags of Starbucks coffee in its grocery outlets, however Starbucks prematurely stop supplying its coffee bags to the company in March 2011, and turn the contract towards another privately held Acosta Inc.

    As September 1998 deal is expected to end in March 2014, and it was also expected that the deal may automatically converted to another 10-year terms.

    Due to this decision, declared on Wednesday the company will report a loss of $1.64 on each share for the recently released quarter closed on 29 September. Previously the company without this fine declared a 34% increase in quarterly profit to 63 cents on each share or $481.1 million.

    The fines received from Seattle-based company will be spun off to Mondelez International Inc (NASDAQ:MDLZ), which is a beverage and snack firm and subsidiary of Kraft in October 2012. Mondelez mainly deal in Oreo cookies, Cadbury chocolates, Tang powdered soft drinks and Trident gum. Mondelez International Inc (NASDAQ:MDLZ) share moved up 2.51% to $33.24 in current trading session.

    According to the deal Starbucks cannot challenge or appeal this decision. Starbucks Corporation (NASDAQ:SBUX) share moved down -0.23% to $80.44 in current trading session.
