    Splunk Inc (NASDAQ:SPLK) was up 6.90% after a report that its software helped Ceryx to achieve over 200% ROI.

    OfficeMax Incorporated (NYSE:OMX) and Himax Technologies, Inc. (ADR) (NASDAQ:HIMX) both marked new 12-month high with a gain of more than 6%.

    North American Palladium Ltd (USA) (NYSEAMEX:PAL) added 6.13% after issuing preliminary palladium production results for the year ended December 31, 2012.

    QLogic Corporation (NASDAQ:QLGC) increased 5.5% after lifting quarterly forecast on stronger sales. Uranium Energy Corp. (NYSEAMEX:UEC), Accretive Health, Inc. (NYSE:AH), Delcath Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ:DCTH), Apollo Group Inc (NASDAQ:APOL), Universal Display Corporation (NASDAQ:PANL) and Orexigen Therapeutics, Inc. (NASDAQ:OREX) all rose between 5 and 6 percent.

The HLF stock on Tuesday advanced 4.79% followed by American Eagle Outfitters (NYSE:AEO), Avon Products, Inc. (NYSE:AVP), FMC Technologies, Inc. (NYSE:FTI), Synaptics, Incorporated (NASDAQ:SYNA) and Quicksilver Resources Inc (NYSE:KWK).

    Symantec Corporation (NASDAQ:SYMC), 8×8, Inc. (NASDAQ:EGHT) and Oceaneering International (NYSE:OII) all rose to new 52-week high and each gained over 4%.

    Dell Inc. (NASDAQ:DELL) was the most active and upbeat stock as talks to take the PC maker private are at an advanced stage.
    Among other top volume positive stocks Ford Motor Company (NYSE:F), Delta Air Lines, Inc. (NYSE:DAL), Quiksilver, Inc. (NYSE:ZQK) and Boston Scientific Corporation (NYSE:BSX) hit new high.

    In addition, Chimera Investment Corporation (NYSE:CIM), Rite Aid Corporation (NYSE:RAD), Alpha Natural Resources, Inc. (NYSE:ANR), MGM Resorts International (NYSE:MGM) and Kinross Gold Corporation (USA) (NYSE:KGC) all were actively green.
