    Yingli Green Energy Hold. Co. Ltd. (ADR) (NYSE:YGE) extended gains after no change has been made to a provision that enables solar installers to receive subsidies in the form of a cash grant.

    Hanwha Solarone Co Ltd (NASDAQ:HSOL) marked fifth rally in a row after getting a US$475 million line of credit from The Bank of Beijing to support the module manufacturer’s downstream PV projects.

    Both ReneSola Ltd. (ADR) (NYSE:SOL) and Suntech Power Holdings Co., Ltd. (ADR) (NYSE:STP) gained, following other solar-tech stocks.

    Herbalife Ltd. (NYSE:HLF) jumped after it completed acquisition of former Dell Inc. (NASDAQ:DELL) plant.

    Hot Topic, Inc. (NASDAQ:HOTT) scored new high on Thursday after the company’s sales during the holiday period increased 4 percent versus last year, and unveiled a plan to open new stores this year.
