    WellPoint, Inc. (NYSE:WLP) said today that it anticipates 2012 adjusted earnings at the high end or slightly above a forecast that the health insurer maintained in December. The Indianapolis Company also predicts net income per share excluding certain items to increase somewhat this year, when the insurer plans to repurchase share and have a lower share count.

    Last month, WellPoint said projected earnings in a range of $7.30 to $7.40 per share in 2012, before items like investment gains and litigation or acquisition costs. The forecast exclude costs related to its takeover of fellow insurer Amerigroup Corp., a $4.46 billion deal.     RPM International Inc. (NYSE:RPM) recorded double-digit growth in profit and revenue for the second quarter on an adjusted basis and the specialty chemical company reaffirmed its annual guidance.

    For the second quarter ended November, adjusted earnings increased 17.6 percent to 40 cents per share, as compared to expectations of 42 cents. Second-quarter profit declined 16.6 percent to $41.67 million. Revenue gained 11.1 percent to $1.02 billion, beating forecast of a growth of 9.0 percent.

    Monsanto (NYSE:MON) announced that its first-quarter earnings per share was $0.62, beating the $0.36 analysts estimates. Sales moved to 2.94 billion, surpassing the 2.64 billion mean forecast.

    Monsanto predicted fiscal-year EPS to appear in a range of $4.30 and $4.40 per share, as compared to a range of $4.18-4.32 it guided earlier, while analysts were projecting $4.40 per share.

    Ultra Clean Holdings Inc (NASDAQ:UCTT) said on Tuesday it has revised sales forecast for the fourth quarter of 2012, representing a decline from its prior outlook. The Company now anticipates revenue in a range of $88.5 million to $90 million, down as compared to projection of $94 million to $99 million issued on October 22, 2012.
