This marks the second consecutive time AT&T ranked highest in the study. The J.D. Power Wireless Purchase Satisfaction Study evaluates the overall customer experience in stores, online and by phone. It may no longer come as a surprise why billionaires like Carl Icahn, Apple Inc’s most active investor, maintain Apple as one of their top 10 holdings. In a letter to Apple Inc investors dated Feb 10, Mr Icahn wrote he was backing off from his non-binding proposal that would be forcing the iPhone maker to add another $50 billion to its stock buyback plan. He acknowledged that Apple is now closer to his requested stock repurchase target, following Apple CEO Tim Cook’s announcement of the $14-billion buyback. Apple Inc. On the bearish side, Deutsche Bank analyst Dan Galvesand his team have downgraded Tesla Motors Inc (NASDAQ:TSLA) from Buy to Hold. They note that there were some major disclosures on the automaker’s release and conference call, including the ramp-up to 48,000 vehicles produced per year by the fourth quarter of the year and next week’s conference call regarding the gigafatory. Tesla Motors Inc (NASDAQ:TSLA) stock loosed -0.18% and finished the last session at $209.60.The EPS of the stock remained -0.70.Company’s market capitalization is $25.70 billion.
Thursday morning, Bloomberg indicated that Manager Magazin reported that “Nokia is considering combining its networks division with Juniper Networks.” The Bloomberg report goes on to mention that Manager Magazin indicated “a takeover of Juniper Networks, Inc. (NYSE:JNPR) was discussed by Nokia Corporation (NYSE:NOK) (BIT:NOK1V) (HEL:NOK1V)’s board earlier this year.” Given the changes in the IT world and the ramp of the mobile Internet, we have long considered the networking world an attractive asset for wireless infrastructure players and large IT vendors. In our view, a combination of the two companies would make sense as the networking and wireless worlds converge. Next week, both companies are attending Mobile World Congress, and we will also be at the event. Nokia Corporation (ADR) (NYSE:NOK) stock opened the session at $7.43, and closed the session at $7.46.The 52 week range of the NOK stock remained $3.02-$8.20 and the day range was $7.37 – $7.49.
