    What bad news is pushing these stocks sharply down?

    Wall Street declined on Thursday, cutting the best January gain for the Dow Jones Industrial Average since 1994, on weak earnings.

    Among top losers, Generex Biotechnology Corporation (OTC:GNBT) fell 29.47% amid an Investor Conference Call to discuss recent company activity and management Plans held on January 31, 2013 10:00 AM ET.

    Liquidity Services, Inc. (NASDAQ:LQDT) tumbled $9.20 or 22.40%, hitting new low on lower guidance.[article_detail_ad_1]

    Constellation Brands, Inc. (NYSE:STZ) plunged 17.39% after an antitrust lawsuit was filed to halt Anheuser-Busch InBev NV (ADR) (NYSE:BUD)’s offer to acquire Grupo Modelo SA, creating hurdles in the wine and spirits maker’s role in the deal.

    Elizabeth Arden, Inc. (NASDAQ:RDEN) lost 16.26% on lower-than-predicted second-quarter results.

    Fusion-IO, Inc. (NYSE:FIO) dropped 12.99% on outlook cut.

    Cabot Corp (NYSE:CBT) retreated 12.87% after profit decline of more than 50% and cautious guidance.

    Time Warner Cable Inc (NYSE:TWC) decreased 11.28% on disappointed outlook.

    Harman International Industries Inc./DE/ (NYSE:HAR) traded 9.13% lower after providing outlook below projections.

    Velti Plc (NASDAQ:VELT) extended fall after Craig Hallum downgraded the stock from a “buy” rating to a “hold” rating and lower its PT to $4.00 from $12.00. The company had given a presentation at its 2013 Analyst Day at 8:30 AM ET on January 30, 2013.

    Chiquita Brands International, Inc. (NYSE:CQB) fell 8.24% on a downgrade from a buy rating to a hold rating at BB&T.

    Concur Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ:CNQR) declined 7.79% after corporate report.

    The Dow Chemical Company (NYSE:DOW) retreated 6.96% after quarterly results.

    Towerstream Corporation (NASDAQ:TWER) tumbled 6.94% after pricing public offering at $3.00/share.

    Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc. (NASDAQ:TTWO) moved 6.81% down on delaying ‘Grand Theft Auto V’ release.

    ResMed Inc. (NYSE:RMD) plunged 6.49% after the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services unveiled a plan cut reimbursement on certain medical equipment by an average of 45%.

    Corinthian Colleges Inc (NASDAQ:COCO) lost 6.11% after posting quarterly loss.

    M.D.C. Holdings, Inc. (NYSE:MDC) was 5.84% down after earnings release.

    Banco Santander, S.A. (ADR) (NYSE:SAN), Murphy Oil Corporation (NYSE:MUR), Acxiom Corporation (NASDAQ:ACXM) and ConocoPhillips (NYSE:COP) each lost more than 5% after results while Tenneco Inc. (NYSE:TEN) dropped 4.7% on earnings release.

    More on the flip side, Genco Shipping & Trading Limited (NYSE:GNK), Golar LNG Partners LP (NASDAQ:GMLP), Sodastream International Ltd (NASDAQ:SODA), Youku Tudou Inc (ADR) (NYSE:YOKU), Doral Financial Corp. (NYSE:DRL) and Charter Communications, Inc. (NASDAQ:CHTR) all fell in a range of 4-5%.
