    Oracle Corporation(NASDAQ:ORCL), which previous week declared it would purchaseDataRaker, is slated to announce its second-quarter fiscal 2013 earnings Tuesday, December 18, after the markets close. Investors will be expecting the firm, with its push into cloud computing, to recover after previous quarter’s revenue drop ended a string of gains.

    Analysts on average forecast that Oracle will announce revenue for the quarter that increasedalmost 2.5% year-over-year to $9.03 billion.

    Per-share earnings are likely to come at $0.61, which would be higher from $0.54 a share in the similar quarter of previous year. That consensus earnings forecast has stayed unchanged in the previous 60 days.
