    Petmed Express Jumps On Earnings beat (PETS, T, BAH, HAS, MSW)

    Petmed Express Inc (NASDAQ:PETS) decreased 13.24% to $9.77 after the Company released second quarter results. Net income was $4 million or 20 cents per share compared to $4.8 million or 22 cents per share in the prior year period. Revenue declined 6.3% to $69 million due to a decline in average order size. During the quarter ended June 30, 2012 average order size was $73 compared to $80 for the quarter ended June 30, 2011. The sales in the June quarter might also have been negatively affected by the peak season starting earlier this year due to the warmer weather.

    AT&T Inc (NYSE:T) went down 0.37% to $35.16. The Company has reached agreements “in concept” with the Communications Workers of America in wireline contract negotiations for about 18,700 employees. The negotiations concern 13,000 AT&T Midwest region employees in Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Michigan and Wisconsin and about 5,700 employees throughout the country in the AT&T Corp.

    Booz Allen Hamilton Holding Corporation (NYSE:BAH) among the losers and the stock moved down 2.61% to $16.80. The Company expects revenue growth to be flat to down low-single digits for the first half of the year. The decline in revenue growth forecast due to decrease in expenses that the company bills to customers.

    Hasbro Inc (NASDAQ:HAS) soared 3.96% to $35.19. The Company reported second quarter net income of $43.4 million or 33 cents per share compared to $58.1 million or 42 cents per share in the prior year period. Revenue decreased 11% to $811.5 million. However, Wall Street analysts expected profit of 23 cents per share on revenue of $829 million.

    Mission West Properties Inc (NASDAQ:MSW) went down 0.11% to $8.75. The Company is in talks to sell itself to Divco West and private equity firm TPG. Divco West is a San Francisco real-estate investment firm. The deal and pricing terms are not concrete.
