    NewLead Holdings Ltd (NASDAQ:NEWL) advanced about 8% after inking a deal to supply 720,000 metric tons of thermal coal to a third party buyer which in result is expected to generate about $64.0 million in revenue over a 12-month period.

    F5 Networks, Inc. (NASDAQ:FFIV) rose 5.7% on optimistic outlook.

    Fairchild Semiconductor International (NYSE:FCS) advanced after the company predicted sales to be in the range of $330 to $350 million for the first quarter of 2013, meeting analysts view of $346 million.

    InvenSense Inc (NYSE:INVN) increased 7.8% after the company released its 2013 fiscal third quarter results.

    Xerox Corporation (NYSE:XRX) was up after the company reaffirmed its fiscal 2013 guidance.

    Western Digital Corp. (NASDAQ:WDC) hit new high after predicting sharp gain in Q2 earnings.

    United Continental Holdings Inc (NYSE:UAL) topped prior 52-week high on lower-than-expected loss for the fourth quarter.

    More on the upside, Fairchild Semiconductor International (NYSE:FCS), Vodafone Group Plc (ADR) (NASDAQ:VOD), eBay Inc (NASDAQ:EBAY), SanDisk Corporation (NASDAQ:SNDK) and EMC Corporation (NYSE:EMC) were among noteworthy upbeat stocks.

    Turning to highly traded stocks, Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT), Cereplast, Inc. (PINK:CERP), Facebook Inc (NASDAQ:FB), Citigroup Inc. (NYSE:C) and General Electric Company (NYSE:GE) were in green, at last check.

    On the flip side, TT Educational Services, Inc. (NYSE:ESI) tumbled to new low on loss in 4th qtr.

    Mellanox Technologies, Ltd. (NASDAQ:MLNX) lost about 9% after Q4 results and guidance.

    Logitech International SA (USA) (NASDAQ:LOGI) plunged 7.33% on Q3 loss and lower-than-projected revenue.

    Cirrus Logic, Inc. (NASDAQ:CRUS) fell 8.5% on lower-than-predicted earnings for the fourth quarter.

    Diebold Incorporated (NYSE:DBD) declined 8.3% after cutting FY 2012 EPS outlook.

    Polycom Inc (NASDAQ:PLCM) dropped 7.13% on big profit decline.

    Kennametal Inc. (NYSE:KMT) decreased 5.41% as the company posted lower earnings and outlook.

    Altera Corporation (NASDAQ:ALTR) plunged 4.55% on results that missed estimates.

    Under Armour Inc (NYSE:UA) tumbled on Gene McCarthy resignation.

    Noble Corporation (NYSE:NE) fell 3.5% after the company reported lower-than-predicted Q4 results.

    More on the down side, Broadcom Corporation (NASDAQ:BRCM), Vringo, Inc. (NYSEAMEX:VRNG), Cliffs Natural Resources Inc (NYSE:CLF), Teradyne, Inc. (NYSE:TER) and IAMGOLD Corporation (USA) (NYSE:IAG) were noteworthy losers, at last check.

    Turning to active losers, Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) with $51.33 fall, Nokia Corporation (ADR) (NYSE:NOK), KeyCorp (NYSE:KEY), Buckeye Partners, L.P. (NYSE:BPL) and Janus Capital Group Inc. (NYSE:JNS) all were in red.
