    Deutsche Telekom AG (ADR) (OTCMKTS:DTEGY) CEO Timotheus Hoetgges has expressed his concern about the unfair competition between US and European companies, reports the dpa-AFX news agency. In an interview with German newspaper ‘Handelsblatt’, he said that it was unfair that a US company like Google can use Deutsche Telekom’s infrastructure for its own benefit, adding that Google is not obliged to meet EU data protection guidelines like European companies. By moving data to internet companies outside the EU, he warns that this creates a large profit pool for firms like Google which they use to subsidise other telecoms services.
