Revenue was up 19% to $123 million. The company’s cautious projections in May called for earnings of $0.34 to $0.36 a share and revenue of $121 million to $123 million.
Coldwater Creek Inc. (NASDAQ:CWTR) shares declined 1.52% to $0.590 in the after hour trading after the company reported a second quarter net loss of $17.6 million or $0.14 per share, as compares to a net loss of $27.7 million or $0.30 per share for the year-ago quarter. Net sales for the second quarter fell to $163.7 million from $181.4 million a year ago. Analysts expected the company to report a loss of $0.18 per share on revenue of $179.66 million for the second quarter.
