J.D. Power Reports says that Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) smartphones rank highest in customers of Verizon Communications Inc. (NYSE:VZ) and AT&T Inc. (NYSE:T), while Samsung devices are ranks highest in T MOBILE US INC (NYSE:TMUS) and Sprint Communications Inc customers.
According to the J.D. Power 2013, overall both the smartphone giants are the only brands to attain satisfaction score having above the research average in the entire factors in which it is analyzed.
According to the detail study, the device satisfaction of customer is the top most in AT&T with 843 points, while at the second place was Sprint with 835 points, at third place was T-Mobile with 825 and Verizon Wireless with 825 points.
Particularly the US smartphone manufacture customer device satisfaction was overall highest in Verizon Wireless clients with 861. While in Samsung smartphone user’s satisfaction is top most in Sprint clients with 853 points.
The smartphone devices that perform mainly well in all four U.S. wireless include Apple iPhone 5, Samsung Galaxy Note II, Nokia Lumia 920, and Blackberry Z10. Primary the devices purchase by different customers from different carriers has based upon different reasons. Sprint clients purchase their devices due to the device phone features, while T-Mobile clients are more inclined towards prices of the devices. While in general purchasers satisfaction in smartphone users is 833 point out of 1,000-point scale.
J.D. Power telecommunications services senior director Kirk Parsons has said it is very appealing to perceive that satisfaction performance varies by Smartphone Company in Tier 1 carriers. This shows that the carrier company services, services on their devices and their position specific features weight on the experience users have with their handset device.
The total survey was conducted with 16,421 smartphone customers that have purchase their devices less than one year time duration, and are also carries of devices from those operators. The study was conducted from February to August 2013. Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) shares up 0.53% to $503.74 in current session.
