The deal is expected to add more than 400 basis points to Waste Connections’ consolidated earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization margin. The Company expects the deal to close in the fourth quarter.
Waste Connections provides solid waste collection, transfer, disposal and recycling services.
Pfizer Inc (NYSE:PFE) went up 0.16% to $24.88. The Company is introducing a new program in order to increase knowledge among people about the significance of proper use of medicine. These way patients can get desired results from treatment and at the same time this will help National Health Service to save money. The Company is a research-based, global biopharmaceutical company.
Advanced Micro Devices Inc (NYSE:AMD) plunged 1.22% to $3.24. Thomas Seifert, the chief financial officer of the Company intends to resign effective at the end of next week to pursue other interests. The Company is a global semiconductor company with facilities globally.
Cisco Systems Inc (NASDAQ:CSCO) decreased 1.51% to $18.38 on a traded volume of 7.21 million shares. Cisco said that Jerry Yang, co-founder of Yahoo! Inc will retire from its board. This will reduce the number of directors to 13. The Company is the world’s biggest maker of computer-networking equipment.
