Nearly all of the top 10 searches in the U.S. were regarding social networks or companies that provide social features such as free email, according to a new study.
Google.com is still being used by social network users in order to complete their searches to find social network login URLs. Experian published a new research study finding that “Facebook login” was still the most popular search on search engines including Google Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOG) in 2012.[article_detail_ad_1]
Analytics firm Hitwise disclosed that 6.03 percent of its top 50 searches were made up of social media terms, representing an increase of 44 percent from 2011. The study also found that Facebook represented 5.84 percent of all searches in the United States. “Facebook login” and “facebook.com” were two among various terms used in Facebook searches.

Yahoo! Inc. (NASDAQ:YHOO)’s latest closing price was 21.86% up from an average-price of 200 days while it maintained a distance from the SMA 50 at +8.99% and +1.62% compared with the SMA 20. The stock was up 36.38% from the 52 week low and was -0.96% below the 52 week high. It has shown an uptrend of 22.31% in the same period with a monthly performance of +4.32% and 3-month performance up 22.31%.
As of last close, Zynga Inc (NASDAQ:ZNGA) was 14.35% up from the 52 week low and was -84.98% below the 52 week high. Its latest closing price was -55.37% up from an average-price of 200 days while it kept its distance from the SMA 50 at +1.74% and -1.89% compared with the SMA 20.
