BlackBerry Ltd (NASDAQ:BBRY) May Sell In Parts, Analyst Predicts

Analyst are currently looking into the potential option which BlackBerry Ltd (NASDAQ:BBRY) will sort-out for its future. The two main concerns, that are prevailing regarding the formally pioneer Smartphone Company, that it would be sold in parts or one piece.

According to Evercore Partners’ analyst the Smartphone Company would be value more if its software and hardware businesses were split, as its hardware business is currently declining so it is laos effecting its software.

On Friday the company, said it likely to report net operating loss of approximately $1 billion in upcoming quarter result ended August 31, mainly because of write-downs on a heap of unsold BB10 devices.

According to Brokerage National Bank Financial, the company is approximately worth $2.6 billion, and the firm consider that any recovery for BlackBerry is very doubtful and  has cut its price target for the Smartphone manufacture from $8 to $5.

While in 2008, when the BlackBerry Ltd (NASDAQ:BBRY) was the leader in corporate email it worth $80 billion, which far behind its current estimated value. The company start declining in its market share when phone powered by Google’s Android and Apple iOS started dominating the Smartphone market.

The company has said that in the latest quarter it has sold approximately 3.7 million units, in which mostly were older models. Its BB10 handset powered by new operating system, from which the company had high expectation, has failed to gain market share.

Analyst at CIBC has declared in his notes that the failure in BB10 sale is mostly due to possible result is a take-over for the company. And analysts predict this delay lead to further decreased customer confidence in the company.

BlackBerry has formerly declared that it was looking into a sale of the company, and analysts predict the worth of the company according to the capability of the entire company with reference its current individual business was working, which mostly include its patents, messaging business, investments and cash between $8 billion to $10 billion, according to current market value. BlackBerry Ltd (NASDAQ:BBRY) shares fell -5.44% to $8.25 in current session.
