News Corp (NASDAQ:NWSA)’s Greg Clayman Left The Company

Greg Clayman, an executive of News Corp (NASDAQ:NWSA) has left the company, who is working as publisher in the firm’s Daily, the only short live digital news paper of the firm, and now he will join video-sharing site Vimeo.

Mr. Clayman, who supervises the media firm’s digital efforts, deceased within the previous few weeks, according to two unnamed sources but do not reveal their identity as they are not permitted to speak about the matter in public. In his new position he will be a general manager of audience system, he will focus on increasing the number of viewership for Vimeo, the video share site is part of InterActiveCorp (IACI)/ Barry Diller’s IAC holding firm, another source revealed.

When he was working at News Corp (NASDAQ:NWSA), he has moved from Daily as it was closed. In his new role in the firm he was assign the position of investments and digital strategy.

The spokeswoman for the New York-based firm Ashley Huston has declined to comment following the publishing of news in Wall Street Journal.

The video sharing website has over 14 million registered users. It display user uploaded video clips and acquire revenue from advertisements and subscription fees.

The New York base newspaper publishers, is looking to boost its digital revenue as the readership of individuals are shift from print advertising digital world. The news firm has recently declared that it will invest in the Wall Street Journal’s technology coverage and conference and cut ties with website AllThingsD.

In May the news company was split into two companies that include with News Corp and Twenty-First Century Fox Inc (NASDAQ:FOXA). After the split News Crop keeps the media assets as well as newspaper, while the other half will hold TV, movie, and other entertainment related area.
