Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) has finally launch their rumor flagship devices that include a redesigned edition of its tablet iPad Air, renew version of its iPad mini, as well as faster Mac computers’ upgraded operating system Mavericks Mac offered for free and business software iWork, and all this package will be available for highly competitive holiday shopping season.
The entire products are introduced by Phil Schiller, the company’s marketing chief in San Francisco. According to his statement the company’s iPad mini that includes a high-definition “retina” display, with the tag price of $399 will start selling from late November, while iPad Air with 16 gigabytes of storage and a tag price of $499 will be available from first November. While its OS Mavericks Mac operating system is available for free.
Mainly the images that are leaked by various analysts, blogs, and other sources, resembled with the current launched devices, but it is expected that new version of iPad mini will be available at $329, however the company has offered $399 is far higher then expectations.
As far as specs of the devices are concern the iPad Air will be available with 9.7-inch screen like its previous model, but the changes in the device are made in its internal hardware, thinner 43% as compare to original model and weighs just one pound.
Tim Cook, Chief Executive of Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) has spotlighted the firm’s position in the tablet market, mention that the firm sold its 170 millionth iPad earlier this month. He added customers use it; customers love it, because iPad merges into an unbelievable experience of software, hardware and instinctive services.
According to data from IDC, in Q2 2013, the smartphone maker has approximately 33% of international tablet sales, in contrast to 60% in Q2, 2012. While Samsung in Q2, 2013 has approximately 19% of international tablet sale while in Q2, 2012 it has 7.5% in that same period. Apple Inc share dropped -0.29% to $519.87 in last trading session.
