Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) is set to make a strong move in the Japanese e-book market. The world’s largest company is holding talks with a number of Japanese publishers to deliver a local version of its iBookstore with their e-book catalogs. All ThingsD reported citing anonymous sources that Apple is negotiating with the publishing houses including Kodansha, Shogakukan and Kadokawa. Talks are reportedly going well, and the company anticipates signing deals soon, though not as soon as the Nikkei, which first broke news of the conversations, claims.

In other breaking news, Apple’s A6X processor, which has been used in its 4G iPad, might soon see its manufactured changed from Samsung to Taiwan Semiconductor (TSMC). Taiwan-based Commercial Times reported Apple Inc. (AAPL) has signed an agreement with TSMC to initiate trial production of its A6X processor during the starting three months, according to the AFP, which obtained a copy of the report behind a paywall.
