Disney’s (NYSE: DIS) Fourth Quarter Soars High

The Walt Disney Co.’s (NYSE: DIS) new video game Disney Infinity  thrash analyst forecast on it’s 12 percent fiscal fourth quarter earnings. According to Disney (NYSE: DIS) CEO Bob Iger  more than 1 million Disney Infinity starter packs have been sold since the game launched in August.

LOS ANGELES (AP) — The Walt Disney Co.’s earnings rose 12 percent in the company’s fiscal fourth quarter, beating analysts’ forecasts on the surprising str.

Each pack are sold for $75 each not only that  toys are also selling extremely well. Disney Infinity helped Disney’s (NYSE: DIS) gaming unit swing to a profit for the fourth quarter ended.

The revenues for the quarter rose $205 million to $396 million, with profit improving from a loss of $76 million to income of $16 million. Disney (NYSE: DIS) Interactive saw an increase in revenue of more than 100%, which the company primarily attributed to strong sales.
