Early Losers: Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL), Facebook Inc (NASDAQ:FB), Twitter Inc (NYSE:TWTR), Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOG)

In an announcement made on Thursday, the Shareholders Foundation said that an investor in shares of Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) lodged a case against the board of directors of Apple Inc for allegedly breaching fiduciary duties. Such breach brought damages to Apple Inc. and its stockholders, the announcement said. According to the lodged complaint, Apple Inc’s board of directors was involved in an alleged conspiracy to “fix tech industry wages, and thereby exposing Apple Inc to billions in potential wage restitution. Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) stock opened today at $541.39 and is currently trading at $540.52. The stock showed a positive weekly performance of 0.51%.

Clearly, despite a billion and a quarter users of Facebook, there are plenty of skeptics around — the financial skeptics doubt if Facebook Inc (NASDAQ:FB) and Zuckerberg can deliver to justify their stratospheric market capitalization and the privacy rights skeptics who have been wary of Facebook’s intentions for some time now. Facebook Inc (NASDAQ:FB) stock opened at $62.55, in current trading session and currently is at $61.86, by loosing -1.29%. The 52 week range of $22.67-$72.59. Company’s market capitalization is $160.36 billion.

Right from the get-go after the IPO in November, Twitter Inc (NYSE:TWTR) has had a tumultuous relationship with Wall St. The problem seems to be that everyone in Wall St is a Martian, while Twitter is from Venus. Twitter Inc (NYSE:TWTR) stock is currently trading at $44.85 .The EPS of the stock is -1.69. Company’s market capitalization is $26.37 billion.

Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOG)’s class-C shares will start trading on the Nasdaq under the symbol “GOOG” while class-A stock will trade under “GOOGL.” The search engine giant will issue a class-C share for each of class- A and class-B common stock outstanding. The new class of shares will have no voting rights, so it won’t dilute the voting power of Google co-founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin. Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOG) stock opened the session at $569.85, and now is at $582.18. The 52 week range of the GOOG stock remained $552.92-$604.83 and the day range was $567.02-$586.76.
