Recently the EU published it’s latest opinion on their stance against the sale of Electronic Cigarette related products to be sold within the EU. Electronic Cigarette makers are being left in the lurch when it comes to how this will affect the sale and production of an already booming market. But is the new EU directive fair? and who is leading this push for a product that seemingly is an alternative to smoking that has 4,00 less chemicals.
In a recent Forbes magazine article, the reporter pointed out that if there is a seemingly healthier alternative to smoking Tobacco products that could be banned, why in fact are Tobacco Cigarettes themselves not banned all together?
This begs the question about who is really behind the latest EU publication that Electronic Cigarette products, including the sale of E cigs and E Liquids that are used to refill a users electronic device with liquid Nicotine if they run low.
If the Electronic Cigarette shows huge growth, in fact a 300% growth in three years, with a further two million users set to be switching to the electronic devices before the year is out. Then this means only one thing that Electronic cigarettes offer a healthier alternative and a user experience that the people like.
So if a product not only saves peoples lives, some 5 million people lose their lives to Tobacco Related diseases and save the user up to £2,500 per year then why is it being met with such opposition?
It seems that it is now down to the people to stand against Tobacco Giants who wish to pressure politicians to pass ridiculous bills against Electronic Cigarettes, as they see the devices as real competitors that could potentially destroy their profits across the world.
