Green deal carbon emissions will allow households free measures

Green deal and eco deal are two schemes that are quickly gaining traction in the UK. With thousands of households claiming their free grants we look at the overall effect of the green deal and the Eco deal carbon emission reductions.

With the average carbon savings of a household ranging from 10 carbon tonnes to 24 carbon tonnes. It is believed there are over 8 million homes in the UK that are readily allowed to claim these free measures under the green deal and eco deal.

This would mean that the average carbon tonnes that would be saved in the UK environment would be 192,000,000 carbon tonnes.

There are monumental figures according the DECC, who believes that the obligation allows those who are most vulnerable with their energy bills and will also keep their homes warmer for longer during those cold UK winter months.

Both ofgem and the BBA are firmly behind ensuring that each installed measure is kept within the regulatory guidelines, to ensure that the customer ultimately is not affected.
