Medtronic, Inc. (NYSE:MDT) issued an updated statement on the recent ruling by Federal District Court of Delaware. The ruling granted in part Edwards Lifesciences’ motion for a preliminary injunction that prevents Medtronic from selling or offering to sell its CoreValve® System in the United States, except through a mechanism that Medtronic is pursuing with Edwards Lifesciences that would allow currently trained sites to treat patients with CoreValve based on a physician’s medical judgment. Bristol-Myers Squibb Co (NYSE:BMY) said that it has filed a new drug application (NDA) with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) seeking approval of a combination that combines its HIV treatment vaccine called Reyataz whose chemical name is Atazanavir Sulfate and Gilead Sciences, Inc. (NASDAQ:GILD) Cobicistat for treating the HIV virus. Bristol-Myers Squibb Co (NYSE:BMY) shares moved up 0.71% in last trading session and was closed at $49.46 while trading in range of $48.95 – $49.68 – Bristol-Myers Squibb Co (NYSE:BMY) year to date (YTD) performance is -6.29%.
