(NASDAQ:FB) is paying for WhatsApp is hard to justify, but there is clearly value in the app’s 450M. “That expression, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. You probably have to go back to some aspect of that. I can’t justify it but then again I don’t have Mark Zuckerberg’s vision, I don’t have his check book,” he said. Facebook Inc. (NASDAQ:FB) stock opened at $71.88 in last trading session, and closed at $70.84, trading in the range of $70.25 – $71.89. The stock showed a positive weekly performance of 2.76%.

Yahoo! Inc. (NASDAQ:YHOO) has again picked up another company. This time, its buying mode paved the way for it to buy Vizify, an online customization tool. The two companies have been in discussions about the possibility of a buyout transaction since summer. Yahoo! Inc. (NASDAQ:YHOO) stock advanced 0.41% and finished the last session at $39.66. The EPS of the stock remained 1.27. Company’s market capitalization is $40.18 billion.
Twitter Inc (NYSE:TWTR) paid $36M to acquire 900 patents from IBM (IBM), according to an SEC filing, reports Bloomberg. The agreement, signed in December and announced in January without financial information, resolved a dispute that led IBM to write to Twitter about possible infringement of at least three patents. Twitter Inc (NYSE:TWTR) stock opened at $54.91 in last trading session and closed at $54.83. The 52 week range of the stock is $38.80 – $74.73 and the day range was $54.70 – $56.09.
