The device is said to have a function that would record a user’s gameplay, pause the action or go back to the beginning. This recording function will allow the gamers to go back and then select highlights of their gaming sessions for eventual upload to sites like Facebook, or YouTube, Ustream.

The gaming console also has functionality of focusing on critical moments during a game and automatically turns on the recording after a special accomplishment is performed by the user. Microsoft said that the function called snap highlights will only work on the latest consoles.

Developers will now be able to update achievements at any point after a game’s released. Developers will be able to unleash an achievement based on a specific weekend activity they have set up.
