Shares of Groupon Inc (NASDAQ:GRPN) fell Tuesday, a day after the daily-deal site said that one of its senior executives is leaving the company next month. Jeffrey Holden, a senior vice president of product management, will leave Groupon March 18. He will join another company, which Groupon did not name. The other company it is not competitor, said Groupon spokesman Bill Roberts. Holder’s responsibilities will be divided among other members of the team, Roberts said. Groupon Inc (NASDAQ:GRPN) stock opened at $10.54 in last trading session, and closed at $10.40 trading in the range of $10.05 – $10.56. The stock showed a negative weekly performance of -1.05%.
Nuance Communications Inc. (NASDAQ:NUAN), a leader in voice recognition technology and reportedly the technology behind Apple’s Siri, has reported a larger first quarter loss than last year, but still beat expectations. The company incurred a net loss for the quarter ended December 31, 2013 of $55.4 million, or negative $0.18 per diluted share, compared to a loss of $22.1 million, or $0.07 per diluted share, in the fourth quarter of fiscal 2012. Nuance Communications Inc. (NASDAQ:NUAN) shares closed at $14.97 on last trade day, by losing -5.01%. Stock 52 week range is $13.00 – $23.38. Company’s market capitalization is $4.71 billion.
S&P Equity Research lowered shares of WebMD Health Corp. (NASDAQ:WBMD) to a sell rating in a research report released on Wednesday morning, ARN reports. WebMD Health Corp.
