The Nokia X is unveiled four days ago and Nokia Corporation (ADR) (NYSE:NOK) has started exaggerating about orders of this phone on its Weibo account and mentioned that almost1 million preorders are received in China alone which is totally fake.
The Finnish company unveiled its own custom-made Smartphone which is not powered by Google’s Android system in order to fight with its rivals including Apple and Google. While the Nokia X and XL have nothing special that can differentiate it from others and make t appealing but just come at cheaper prices.
The company has believed that this device has attracted about1 million people and they are ready to spend their money to own it and just start getting preorders for the Nokia X in China. In reality, JD.com is supervising the pre-orders and confirmed this huge number but it can be illusory.
In fact, signing in and hitting the preorder button are involved in pre-ordering process only and no process of form filling and down payment is involved. In addition, JD.com has arranged a competition where for every Nokia X color accessible, users could pre-order one time which means one user can preorders for four times. So it is more important that unique preorders from people come who showed their interest in buying this device on entering in market instead of one customer with 4 preorders.
It does not mean that the Nokia Corporation (ADR) (NYSE:NOK) X has no worth of selling. But it is not that clicking gadget that can uplift the company’s expectation of huge growth and revenue development. However, with the innovation of Nokia’s custom interface and apps, it is providing the experience of an Android platform. Some people may think twice before acquiring this device due to its pairing with Windows and the Windows Phone OS as well as past operating system of the company.
