PPI Deadline to be set

Banks are pushing to set a PPI deadline for its customers who were Mis sold PPI over a number of credit agreements and years.

Banks and other creditors are pushing for a deadline for the PPI saga to be over says reports.

The PPI deadline would be around April 2014 and would signal the end of PPI all together. Something similar to the bank charges case a few years back in which banks won a court decision that rules bank charges on people’s accounts for overdue payments and unauthorised overdrafts were fair.

PPI has been the biggest banking scam so far and the PPI deadline would see a huge surge in PPI claims being lodged against banks and other creditors.

This would mean that banks and other creditors would have to deal with every claim coming in and deal with them individually.
