Targets released by ofgem have shown that the Green Deal and the Eco Deal are drastically behind on their targets, with just 0.3% of hard to treat cavities (HTT) under the Eco Deal and green deal. This means green deal and Eco deal is drastically behind on their targets.
The Green Deal and the Eco deal are designed to provide insulating measures to domestic homes throughout the UK. However, there have been so many stumbling blocks along the way that out of the 0.3% it is believed 30% of them jobs have been rejected due to ever changing regulations and goal posts.
With many people in the UK wanting the measures as soon as possible, it is almost being made impossible for installers of these measures to sustain cash flow over the terms that utility companies are setting them.
It is clear that energy companies would rather take the fines than deal with this Eco deal and that leaves a massive question for both installers and consumers.
Can installers survive? And without the green deal installers can customers still get these measures.
