The Coca-Cola Company (NYSE:KO) To Introduce New Products In 2014

The Coca-Cola Company (NYSE:KO)’s low-calorie soda, Coca-Cola Life, has been very popular in Argentina since its debut earlier in the current year. According to the New York Post report, the beverage company might bring a South American hit to US shores in 2014. Muthar Kent, Chairman and CEO of the company said that the firm might introduce new products in the coming year and Coca-Cola life might be included in them.

As diet soft drink sales begin to drop, PepsiCo, Inc. (NYSE:PEP) and The Coca-Cola Company (NYSE:KO) have been researching alternative sweeteners for diet and low-calorie drinks. Some of the drop has been attributed to consumer concern over aspartame, which the EU recently announced is safe for consumption.
