With over $2.6 billion in funding awarded to date, Venture Atlanta continues to be the Southeast’s leading tech investor and entrepreneurial connection event

ATLANTA, Sept. 20, 2018 /PRNewswire/ — GreenPrint, creator of the world’s first reduced emissions fuel program technology, announced that it has been chosen out of hundreds of applicants as one of the top 34 rising star technology companies in the Southeast that will present on stage at Venture Atlanta 2018. The 11th annual Venture Atlanta, the Southeast’s premier event for connecting technology innovation and investment capital, will be held October 16-17 in the heart of downtown Atlanta. With representation of over 140 funds, an expected attendance of over 900 technology entrepreneurs, premier investors and key executives from across the country as well as over 30 selected Venture Atlanta “startup showcase companies” to watch, this year’s Venture Atlanta is on track to be the largest and best yet.

GreenPrint will share the stage with an impressive lineup of other technology innovators as well as expert speakers including keynotes delivered by former NetSuite CEO Zach Nelson and Dave DeWalt, former CEO of FireEye, McAfee and Documentum.

“GreenPrint is positioned to be the change maker for the fuel, petroleum, fleet and service industries, providing an in-demand product, technology and sustainability platform that is the bridge to the future,” said Pete Davis, Founder and CEO of GreenPrint. “We are most honored to be selected to present at Venture Atlanta. This opportunity comes at a critical stage for the growth of GreenPrint. At Venture Atlanta, we hope to secure partnerships to help us amplify and innovate, as the need for our technology platform and potential market expansion in the industries we serve are seemingly endless.”

GreenPrint was chosen as one of 34 selected presenting companies from a large pool of applicants that represent the region’s most innovative tech businesses.

GreenPrint was born from the notion that we are developing into a circular economy. Similar to the grocery industry, the retail petroleum, CPG, hospitality, and transportation industries need a competitive differentiator that allows them to integrate their corporate sustainability efforts into their core product offering – all while increasing brand equity and generating incremental profits. Enter GreenPrint’s technology platform that serves as a conduit for retail fuel, fleet, petroleum, airline and hospitality industries to rise above competitors on a factor other than price point.

“For eleven years, Venture Atlanta has been connecting the Southeast’s best and brightest innovators with top-tier investors and other leaders in our technology ecosystem—helping to launch over 400 companies and secure over $2.6 billion in funding,” said Allyson Eman, executive director of Venture Atlanta. “This year, we’re thrilled to be showcasing the strongest and largest roster yet of both early and venture-stage companies. These companies reflect the incredible pool of talented people and continued opportunities for growth and innovation within our technology community.”

During the two-day event, presenting companies and conference attendees will engage with regional as well as national venture capitalists, investors and other key players in the current technology landscape. The conference results in funding, national investor exposure, invaluable relationship-building and mentoring by successful technology executives. In addition to the 34 presenting companies and lineup of expert speakers, attendees will have an opportunity to network with over 30 selected Venture Atlanta “startup showcase companies” to watch that represent the most exciting emerging technologies in the Southeast. These innovators will be highlighted with special tables at the conference to provide sneak peeks into their plans and products. Atlanta technology innovation hub, Tech Square Labs, will return as the event’s premier sponsor. Techstars will help kick off the conference on October 15 with Techstars Atlanta 2018 Demo Day in partnership with Cox Enterprises.
