Kingold Jewelry Inc., (NASDAQ:KGJI) soared 15.20% on a $40.2M Gold leasing agreement with China Construction Bank.

Novatel Wireless Inc (NASDAQ:NVTL) jumped 13.42% after Bruce Karsh declared owning 3 million voting shares, representing about 9.1 percent of total outstanding stock on Tuesday.

Christopher & Banks Corporation (NYSE:CBK) rallied to new high on Fourth Quarter Fiscal 2012 outlook.

Office Depot Inc (NYSE:ODP) surpassed 52-week high after Goldman Sachs Group Inc. said January might be primed for a big pickup.

Phillips 66 (NYSE:PSX) closed 4.36% higher, scoring third gain in a row.

NII Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ:NIHD), Suntech Power Holdings Co., Ltd. (ADR) (NYSE:STP) and ADTRAN, Inc. (NASDAQ:ADTN) made solid gains (between 4-5%).

JetBlue Airways Corporation (NASDAQ:JBLU) rallied 3.87% on a plan to expand service to Costa Rica.

Ciena Corporation (NASDAQ:CIEN) advanced 3.68% on an upgrade to the submarine cable system Danice.
