iOS clients searching for holiday gift plans can currently head over to Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL)’s App Store to find a range of alternatives.
Currently, you can directly send a paid app to somebody as a gift, an option that was formerly available with iOS 5 but vanished when iOS 6 introduced.
To take advantage of the feature, open the App Store app on your iOS device. Select a paid app that you had like to gift. Click on the Share link in the upper right corner. The Share feature window comes into sight with a new icon in the lower right labeled Gift. Tap on the Gift button. [article_detail_ad_1]
You will be asked for your Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) ID password, and you may be needed to confirm your payment mode. You will then be prompted to write the e-mail address of your gift recipient and a private message if you desire to include one.
Choose the date you wish your gifted app to be sent and a color theme for the present. Authenticate your gift, and then tap on the Buy Gift button to send it on its cheerful way.
On the other hand, Google Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOG) Play gift cards have been elite to clients in the United States, but facts has surfaced today disclosing that this uniqueness is getting ready to modify.
Today morning, for those who have a UK-based account, the Google Play gift card redemption page went live on the British Google Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOG) Wallet website. Granted, this page is ineffective without a gift card or code to write in. Android Central has sought crediting a UK account with a US Google Play gift card, but that became dissatisfaction as it did not work.
Anyway, the fact that the page has gone live simply demonstrates that Google might be ready to develop their gift card service abroad. When we first sighted the redemption page in the US it was just a matter of days before we sighted the primary sightings of Google Play gift cards.
