U.S. banks completed 2012 with less number of bank failures, by more than two thirds, compared with the worst of the recession in 2010 but Georgia continued to lead the country with the most bank failures during last year. Bank regulators closed 51 banks in the United States during 2012, lower as compared to 157 two years ago, while the number of troubled banks in the country has declined for six quarters in a row.
On the other hand, several key US banks have suffered massive distributed denial-of-service attacks for much of December, with customers from Wells Fargo, Citibank and Bank of America allegedly finding it difficult to have an access to the banks’ websites toward the end of the month.[article_detail_ad_1]

JPMorgan Chase & Co. (NYSE:JPM) today has lowered its current mortgage interest rate. The stock moved up 36.17% in the last year and its price history showed most recently beta was at 1.65. Overall during the last 12 months, the percentage change in the price was 25.70%, hitting the highest of $46.49 on Mar 27, 2012 while lowest level in that period was $30.83 on Jun 04, 2012.
Goldman Sachs Group, Inc.(NYSE:GS) filings with the US Securities and Exchange Commission late on Monday revealed that ten senior executives, including Chief Executive Lloyd Blankfein, cashed in S$32.7m in stock
